The Rodney Strong Chalk Hill designated chardonnay is one of very best qualty/value wines. You are paying a few dollars more for a wine with character, toastiness, a slight oakiness, which softens the wine but allows the fruit and character of the wine to shine through.
Normally $24.99 it is on a special allocated price at $19.99 through the end of May.
WARNING !! Once you have tried a bottle it will be difficult to go back to the "fruit bomb" wines at the grocery store.
