Mendel “Unus” (Mendoza, Argentina) - A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines averaging 78 years of age and spending 16 months in 100% new French barriques.  A big but very suave wine with layers of ripe cherry and berry fruits with lingering cocoa and vanilla flavors.  Ripe, soft tannins will allow aging but this big red will drink well now with airing.  93 points, The Wine Advocate.  

Susana Balbo “Brioso” (Mendoza, Argentina) - A blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 8% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot aged for 14 months in 100% new French oak barriques.  Susana Balbo is the first female winemaker in the country and one of the finest.  This rich and complex red offers deep aromas of black currants with lush, concentrated and layered flavors.  92 points, The Wine Advocate.
